The prices listed for waxing, are they per leg (arm etc.)?
All prices listed are for full treatments. For example, a full leg wax would include both legs.

How far ahead do we need to schedule appointments?
We recommend that you try and schedule your appointments atleast two weeks in advance.

If I have a gift certificate for a package can I split it up?
Unfortunately, gift certificates for packages can not be broken up, but we offer you the opportunity to use the gift certificate for it's dollar value and utilize any of our services that you would like.

If I have a gift certificate for one service can I use it for a different service?
We will honour the value that the gift certificate indicates to be used towards any of our services or the purchase of any product.

Do gift certificates have an expiry date?
No.

What are your hours of operation?
Raymond's salon and spa services are open Monday to Friday, 10am to 9pm. On Saturdays we provide our services from 10am to 7pm, but our store remains open until 9pm for clients wishing to purchase products. Sundays we are open from 12pm to 5pm.

Is it possible for more than one person to have services at the same time?
Raymond's is capable of performing up to 4 pedicures or maincures at the same time. We also have a number of treatment rooms, allowing us to perform most services at the same time.

Will I be able to be in the same room as my friend during services?
For manicures and pedicures, the answer is a definite yes. Any couple or group of clients coming in together are always seated together. For other services such as facials, massages or body treatments, we are only able to accomodate one person per room.

Do you have RMT's?
Raymond's does not use RMT's, we offer relaxational massages only. All of our estheticians have been properly trained and are qualified to perform massages.

Do you do artificial nails?
We do not provide any kind of artificial nail services.

How painful is waxing?
Every person has a different level of tolerance for pain. So how painful the waxing is really depends on the individual. We do take steps to make the process as comfortable as possible.

How often will I need to have waxing done?
Normally we recommend that you have waxing done every 3 to 6 weeks. This normally depends on how quickly your particular hair grows, as it varies from client to client.

If it is my first time having waxing, would you recommend brazilian bikini waxing?
We recommend that you begin with a regular bikini wax and progress to a brazilian wax. If you prefer to have a brazilian the first time, we will be happy to schedule one, but it is not recommended.

How long does my hair have to be for waxing?
We recommend that you wait until the hair is approximately 1/4" to 1/2" in length before you schedule a waxing appointment. For most people that is about 4 to 7 days of growth.

Is there something that I need to wear for body treatments?
We suggest that you wear clothes that you feel relaxed and comfortable in. For the actual treatment, if you are more comfortable wearing something, we recommend an old bathing suit or undergarments. We also suggest that you bring a second pair of undergarments as they may get wet or dirty during the treatment.

Will you pierce children's ears?
We will only perform ear piercing on children that are 8 years of age or older.

Is it possible to bring in my own nail polish?
We are more than happy to apply any nail polish colours that you may bring to your appointment. If you don't have a preference we have many nail polish colours that you can choose from.

How much notice do your require for cancellations?
Raymond's requires that you give atleast 24 hours notice of cancellation. Group bookings require at least 72 hours notice of cancellation.
